Design precision opto-mechanical components, modules and subsystems for reticle inspection tools. Lead full product lifecycle: requirements, feasibility, 3D modeling (Creo), FEA, tolerance/GD&T analysis, prototyping, supplier management, integration, testing, and release to manufacturing. Collaborate with optics, systems, manufacturing and service teams and document product issues and design reviews.

Lead design, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of multidisciplinary semiconductor inspection systems across optics, mechanical, electrical, controls, and software. Define system requirements and interfaces, drive prototypes to production, mentor junior engineers, support manufacturing and field escalations, and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders. Provide training, roadmap input, and regular status reporting. Occasional travel up to 20%.

Design and implement advanced image-processing and computer-vision algorithms for defect detection and segmentation. Produce production-quality C++ and CUDA code, collaborate with hardware and field teams for deployments, and support algorithm integration and optimization on GPU-accelerated inspection platforms. Occasional international travel.

Lead engineering development projects for mask inspection products, manage risks and critical path, coordinate cross-functional teams, remove bottlenecks, present execution plans to stakeholders, support roadmap and resource planning, and drive engineering rigor, reliability, and customer focus.

Support and act as applications expert for laser scanning wafer inspection products; engage customers with demos and evaluations; develop new use cases, mentor local engineers, collaborate across marketing, engineering and service, track critical projects, and provide timely management updates. Frequent customer travel for demos and evaluations.

Design and build system software to run large-scale deep learning and image-processing workloads on clusters. Develop and maintain HPC infrastructure, collaborate with product teams to deliver high-quality software, and troubleshoot Linux-based, multi-threaded, multi-process, and distributed systems.

Lead product development for next-generation metrology/imaging mask inspection systems. Define requirements and subsystem architectures, coordinate cross-functional engineering teams, perform prototype integration and system testing, create calibration/manufacturing/service procedures, troubleshoot subsystems, support customers and manufacturing, and train stakeholders. Travel up to 25%.

Manage reticle inspection product line(s) or region(s): define market requirements, validate market opportunity, collaborate with engineering and programs on product development, lead new product introductions and beta engagements, drive adoption and market share, and run executive and working-level customer meetings and presentations.

Support product safety, regulatory compliance, and certification for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Perform hazard analyses (FMEA, PHA, HAZOP), risk assessments, CE marking and technical file inputs, and coordinate testing/certification with third‑party agencies. Partner with cross‑functional engineering teams to integrate safety into designs, track corrective actions, investigate safety incidents, and maintain safety documentation and training materials.

Support R&D teams to plan, track, and analyze budgets. Analyze project development costs, monitor expense trends, update cost and headcount allocations, maintain spending trackers, support milestone presentations, perform financial modeling, scenario analysis, and assist annual budget consolidation.

Lead end-to-end opto-mechanical product design including requirements, conceptual and detailed design, FEA and tolerance analysis, prototype build/test, system integration, and release to manufacturing for precision, ultra-clean, and vacuum environments.

Lead end-to-end opto-mechanical design projects: define requirements, perform conceptual and detailed CAD (Creo), run FEA/hand calculations, do tolerance stack-ups and GD&T, prototype, integrate and test systems, and support release to manufacturing for precision, vacuum-capable mechanisms.

Lead applications engineering for new product introduction and validation, customer evaluations, demonstrations, and technical escalations. Influence product strategy, develop global training and BKMs, and build a high-performing team to drive customer adoption and resolve complex technical issues across cross-functional stakeholders.

Lead end-to-end design and development of precision mechanical and opto-mechanical inspection systems for semiconductor capital equipment. Define requirements, perform structural, modal/vibration, thermal, and fluid analyses, optimize vibration isolation, drive concept development, prototype, validate, and support manufacturing handoff and vendor engagement while collaborating across systems, manufacturing, suppliers, and service teams.

Support division leadership with planning, forecasting, budgeting and fixed cost management. Build ROI models, prepare monthly/quarterly reports and forecasts, reconcile expenses and balance sheet items, and perform ad hoc financial analyses to support business decisions.
