Design, build, and maintain secure integrations with EMR/EHR platforms, including API-based and legacy systems. Develop healthcare data pipelines, validation and transformation layers, and reliable event-driven workflows. Monitor integration health, troubleshoot production issues, and improve observability. Collaborate with product, clinical, and AI teams to translate workflows into technical designs while contributing to long-term integration architecture.

Lead and develop the Platform engineering team while remaining hands-on with backend systems, cloud infrastructure, distributed architectures, reliability, observability, and production operations. Set technical direction, manage execution, review designs and code, resolve complex issues, and build scalable infrastructure for AI inference, data processing, and clinical workloads. Partner with engineering, product, ML, and business teams to improve platform performance, security, developer productivity, and operational resilience.

Implement and scale an ambient AI clinical documentation platform across federal and commercial healthcare sites. Responsibilities include clinician onboarding, training, coaching, curriculum development, clinical champion programs, workflow assessments, service recovery, adoption analysis, root-cause investigation of AI documentation issues, prompt recommendations, patient-safety escalation, and collaboration with Product and Engineering. The role requires an active clinical license, substantial patient-care experience, healthcare IT education experience, clinical informatics knowledge, and comfort with AI/NLP-driven documentation workflows.
