As a Color Scientist, you will research human vision, lead Picture Quality R&D, and optimize video display systems using color science expertise. Co-create with partners and evaluate display performance to enhance visual experiences.

Research, prototype, and implement methods to improve efficiency and deployability of LLMs, VLMs, multimodal models and agents. Focus on compression, quantization, inference and reasoning optimizations, novel architectures (MoE, SSMs, Looped Transformers), gradient-free methods, and inference-time optimizations. Build evaluation pipelines, run benchmarks, and contribute to publications, open-source, and IP.

Design, implement, and optimize embodied AI model architectures and deploy them at scale. Build training/evaluation infrastructure and large-scale data pipelines combining simulation, teleoperation, generative and real-world data. Work hands-on with robot hardware (manipulators, mobile robots, RGB-D and tactile/FT sensors) to debug failures and close the sim-to-real loop. Collaborate with global research and hardware teams to integrate systems into consumer products.

The Cryptography Research Scientist will focus on research and development of Fully Homomorphic Encryption and Post-Quantum Cryptography, implementing algorithms and optimizing performance for real-world applications.

This role drives strategic partnerships with property management and builders, overseeing business development, customer engagement, pilot management, and sales cycles for LG's connected appliance offerings.
