Engineering Manager responsible for the health, delivery, people management, onboarding, staffing, and continuous improvement of a 6–8 person engineering pod. The role partners with Product and Technical Leads, manages execution and technical risk, supports hiring and growth, addresses performance issues, and maintains enough technical depth to evaluate software plans. The manager will work in an AI-native, remote-first environment building mortgage automation software.

Own lender customer relationships from implementation through post-go-live, advising on mortgage workflow configuration, answering product questions, handling objections, supporting demos, and translating customer feedback to Product and Engineering. The role requires direct mortgage lender experience, customer-facing communication, deep mortgage lifecycle knowledge, hands-on loan origination system experience, and willingness to travel approximately monthly. The CSM will also help establish the company’s customer success playbook.

Build software that productizes enterprise mortgage-lender onboarding. Responsibilities include automated tenant provisioning, configuration-as-code, environment promotion, data migration from legacy systems, reconciliation reporting, multi-tenant feature rollouts, smoke tests, conformance suites, and infrastructure or CI/CD improvements. The role spans backend, frontend, cloud infrastructure, security, reliability, and collaboration with implementation teams.
