Develop, test, debug, and maintain embedded firmware for optical modules, transceivers, and related products. Responsibilities include real-time and bare-metal software development, hardware-software integration, testing, product bring-up, production support, architecture participation, issue resolution, and technical documentation. The role collaborates with hardware, manufacturing, and test engineering teams and requires expertise in embedded C/C++, microcontrollers, peripheral interfaces, debugging tools, and version control.

Assembles and tests optical components and modules using manual and automated processes. Operates and calibrates production equipment, documents test and quality data, identifies defects and equipment issues, follows cleanroom and safety protocols, supports continuous improvement, and may train junior technicians.

Performs production work in a cleanroom environment while following work instructions, chemical-handling procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements. Requires strong teamwork, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, basic Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to wear full PPE, stand for extended shifts, lift 20–30 pounds, work compressed schedules, and complete overtime when needed.
