Owns precision optical components for 4D FMCW lidar from specification and simulation through vendor qualification, reliability testing, and volume production. Responsibilities include optical tolerance analysis, vendor management, component testing, metrology correlation, failure analysis, documentation, and delivery recovery. The role collaborates across optical, systems, mechanical, quality, procurement, and NPI teams and requires travel to vendor sites across Asia.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated test frameworks, build and release infrastructure, and cloud or on-premise environments for embedded, firmware, and application software. Manage Git workflows, containerized services, hardware-in-the-loop testing, quality metrics, coverage, regression tracking, and release readiness. Support continuous improvement and QA best practices across engineering teams.

Design and deploy automated optical IQC/OQC test systems for high-volume manufacturing. Own opto-mechanical fixtures, instrumentation, motion control, machine vision, test software, data acquisition, MES integration, qualification, tool replication, and production ramp. Develop optical acceptance criteria, correlate subsystem results with lidar performance, and maintain yield, throughput, calibration, traceability, SPC, and gauge R&R. Travel to US and Asia manufacturing sites to support tester deployment and volume production.
