Leads Mastercard’s global AI Engineering organization, overseeing enterprise AI products, agentic AI solutions, reusable AI capabilities, and production deployments. Responsibilities include translating business needs into secure, scalable AI solutions; ensuring reliability, governance, compliance, privacy, and operational excellence; driving adoption and measurable outcomes; and partnering across technology, security, risk, product, and business teams. The role also develops global engineering leaders and builds a high-performing organization.

Leads product strategy, roadmap, protocols, standards, and technical capabilities for Mastercard’s AP4M agentic commerce payment network. Translates partner and market needs into product requirements, collaborates with engineering and cross-functional teams, develops integration documentation, represents Mastercard in standards forums, and supports responsible commercialization of emerging payment technologies including blockchain, digital assets, and multi-rail payments.

Mastercard seeks a Data Engineering Intern to support data science capabilities for Commerce Media and Offers. The intern will help build data pipelines and cloud-based workloads, work with distributed data processing, and contribute to AI/ML and data-driven product initiatives. Candidates should have Python experience, familiarity with cloud data platforms, strong analytical and collaboration skills, and be enrolled in a qualifying bachelor's or accelerated master's program. The role is based in San Francisco and does not offer work authorization sponsorship.
