Design, develop, and operate scalable distributed backend services on Kubernetes or ECS. Collaborate across teams to expand Tinder’s service platform, influence product and technical roadmaps, and mentor or recruit engineers. The role requires strong backend programming, distributed systems, computer science, prioritization, and execution skills, with opportunities to work with cloud platforms, NoSQL databases, messaging systems, and containerization.

Build and ship consumer-facing iOS recommendation features for Tinder. Responsibilities include writing tested Swift code, integrating APIs and experiments, collaborating with backend, product, design, data, QA, and infrastructure teams, debugging issues, improving app performance and reliability, contributing to shared frameworks, and owning features through launch and validation.

Build and ship consumer-facing Android recommendation features using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. Own scoped components through planning, implementation, testing, experimentation, and validation. Collaborate with backend, product, design, data science, QA, ML, and infrastructure teams. Investigate bugs and performance issues, contribute to modular architecture and shared libraries, write tests, participate in code reviews, and improve app reliability and member experience.
