Mercy Clinic seeks a board-certified or eligible hematologist or internist with benign hematology experience to provide longitudinal care for non-malignant blood disorders. The role works within a multidisciplinary cancer center, collaborates with specialists and APPs, uses Mercy's Epic EMR and DAX Copilot, and has access to clinical trials, diagnostics, genetic services, and on-site infusion and specialty pharmacy support.

Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging to assist diagnosis and treatment, operate imaging equipment, ensure patient safety, maintain image quality and documentation, and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Coordinate patient scheduling and documentation for hematology-oncology care: receive orders, schedule procedures, obtain authorizations, enter orders and vitals in the EHR, verify CPT codes, manage resources/equipment, and communicate with patients and clinical staff to ensure compliance and smooth care delivery.

Schedule and coordinate patient appointments for gastroenterology, enter and maintain patient information accurately, handle telephone and administrative tasks, and collaborate with clinical teams to support high-quality patient care.

Performs diagnostic radiographic imaging to assist diagnosis and treatment, operates imaging equipment, ensures patient safety and positioning, maintains accurate documentation, and communicates with patients and clinical team. Meets ARRT and BLS certification timelines and follows protocols and safety standards.

Provide perioperative patient care using the nursing process; coordinate care with other departments; evaluate care given by others; maintain patient rights and confidentiality; meet licensure and certification requirements; perform physically demanding duties in the operating room.

Schedule and coordinate outpatient infusion patients, obtain authorizations, enter orders and patient data into the EHR, prepare patients (vitals), manage referrals/CPT codes, and communicate with patients and clinical teams to ensure smooth treatment delivery.

Provide remote outpatient neurology care (weekdays only, no call) within Mercy Virtual, collaborating with physician leadership and care teams to deliver patient-centered telehealth services and drive clinical excellence.

Lead finance consulting engagements for the health system: perform and frame financial analyses, work with complex data sets, advise executives and boards, manage projects to deadlines, preserve confidentiality, communicate complex ideas clearly, and travel as project needs dictate.

Leads post-award grant functions across the ministry, ensuring compliance, financial reporting, documentation, and funder stewardship. Develops dashboards and reporting tools, liaises with finance and legal, cultivates funder relationships, leads strategic projects, and supervises grant program staff to align program needs with funder expectations.

Facilitate insurance and benefit analysis before service delivery: review appointments/admissions, obtain authorizations, calculate out-of-pocket responsibility, manage insurance referrals and coordination, secure timely reimbursement, complete financial clearance tasks, and mentor fellow patient benefit staff.

Lead and manage ACPE-accredited Clinical Pastoral Education programs, ensuring accreditation compliance, developing curriculum for Levels I/II and CEC candidates, supervising and evaluating students, recruiting and admitting candidates, maintaining accreditation records, and collaborating with Spiritual Care and Mission leaders to advance Mercy's CPE offerings including virtual education.

Full-cycle recruiter responsible for sourcing, screening, and submitting candidates across IT, shared services, and executive roles. Partners with hiring leaders on intake, interviews, and offers; coordinates new-hire paperwork and recruitment events; supports negotiation and onboarding logistics; serves as HR liaison for managers and candidates.
