Build and own the finance function for an FCM: daily customer-funds segregation, regulatory filings (NFA/CFTC), GL, month-end close, treasury, reconciliations, audit-ready controls, and automation of reporting and data pipelines while working with engineers, auditors, counsel, and banks.

Founding engineer will design, build, and operate core systems: order book, execution stack, exchange connectivity, and portfolio management. Work spans backend, frontend, data pipelines, and low-latency integrations. Define architecture, own production reliability and observability, conduct code reviews, and help shape engineering culture and early hiring.

Build and maintain full-stack Finance and Business Systems with Ruby on Rails. Own architecture, coding, automated tests, DB tuning, deployments, and production support. Partner with Finance, Operations, and Engineering to create auditable, correct, and actionable unit-economics instrumentation. Participate in on-call rotation, hiring, and documentation.
