Partner- or Counsel-level attorney will maintain and grow an established portable practice while leveraging the firms administrative, marketing, and collaborative global platform. Responsibilities include independent client and matter management, business development, cross-jurisdictional collaboration, and maximizing collected revenue under a remote-first, flexible arrangement.

Drafts and prosecutes U.S. and international patent applications focused on quantum computing and emerging technologies. Responsibilities include working with inventors and engineers, preparing Office Action responses, managing patent portfolios, advising on patent strategy, and developing client relationships. Requires substantive quantum computing patent experience, USPTO registration, a technical degree, a JD, and at least three years of patent preparation and prosecution experience.

Leads sophisticated private-company mergers and acquisitions from structuring through closing. Drafts and negotiates purchase and merger agreements, disclosure schedules, and related documents; advises clients on deal structure, negotiation strategy, and risk allocation; manages due diligence, associates, and transaction teams; and maintains relationships with clients, opposing counsel, and financial advisors. The role also supports growth of the firm’s Corporate and M&A practice.
