Supports 24/7 data center operations through server and hardware setup, testing, diagnostics, repairs, RMA coordination, inventory management, installation, cabling, firmware updates, operating system configuration, data destruction, and asset audits. Monitors alerts and support queues, documents issues, assists with maintenance projects, maintains technical records, and communicates with vendors, customers, and internal teams. Participates in on-call rotation and process improvement activities.

Own an engineering team responsible for architecture, delivery, roadmap, and operational health across cart, checkout, order, billing, and authentication systems. This hands-on manager partners with Product, writes specifications, reviews code, ships software, drives AI-assisted engineering, improves DORA metrics, manages dependencies, leads on-call operations, develops engineers, and owns hiring. Candidates need recent software delivery experience, commerce and payment integration expertise, and experience in managed hosting, cloud, or another high-availability service business.

Partner with Product to scope and deliver predictable work, maintain hands-on coding and code review, drive AI-assisted engineering, improve DORA metrics, manage dependencies, support on-call operations, develop engineers, and lead hiring.
