Leads mechanical engineering for MEMS and silicon photonics optical switches, overseeing precision mechanical design, structural and thermal simulation, prototyping, manufacturing support, vendor management, first article inspections, and engineering change control. Builds and organizes the mechanical team, drives designs from concept through production, manages reliability and root-cause analysis, and collaborates cross-functionally to deliver robust telecom and data center products.

Responsible for architecting and managing nEye's supply chain, including vendor engagement, materials planning, logistics, and systems implementation for a hardware company.

Design and develop precision opto-mechanical components, packaging, modules, enclosures, thermal systems, and fiber-management solutions. Perform structural, thermal, and vibration FEA; create CAD models, drawings, tolerances, and assembly documentation. Build and validate prototypes, troubleshoot failures, collaborate with manufacturing vendors, support ECOs, and transition designs into production. The role requires multidisciplinary collaboration across photonics, electrical engineering, packaging, manufacturing, and operations.
