Teams at North East Medical Services (NEMS)

Provide telephonic clinical assessment and triage using evidence-based protocols and Epic, document encounters, schedule appointments, manage in-basket messages and warm transfers, consult supervising physicians, educate patients and caregivers, track metrics, ensure HIPAA compliance, and deliver culturally sensitive, bilingual (English/Chinese) patient care.

Provide telephonic clinical assessment, health education, and utilization management using evidence-based triage protocols and Epic. Advise callers, escalate high-acuity cases, schedule appointments, document encounters, manage provider in-baskets, and support coordinated patient care while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality and culturally sensitive communication.

Supervise back-end revenue cycle staff to ensure accurate, timely payment posting, denial follow-up, self-pay management, AR aging resolution, and month-end closing. Coordinate with front-end billing, use Epic PB for workflows and reports, handle patient and payer inquiries, train staff, and support revenue cycle management and reporting.
