Perform system-level testing of turbine-generators and gear-driven propulsion units: integrate DAQ, program automation routines, acquire and analyze data, control test execution, and write procedures and reports. Support 24/7 test campaigns with 12.5-hour shifts (night shift 30–70%), occasional field site work, and ensure equipment meets rigorous naval propulsion and power-generation requirements.

Designs, develops, and tests analog and digital circuitry, cable assemblies, data acquisition and electronic control systems for ship and submarine launch control. Performs troubleshooting of electromechanical systems, custom test setup design, EMI mitigation, and supports PCB/CCB and FPGA-related work. Requires US citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance. Position based in Sunnyvale, CA with ~10% travel.

Develop and maintain LabVIEW-based multi-channel data acquisition, synchronization, continuous acquisition, and signal-processing systems. Integrate NI PXI/DAQ hardware, implement timing coordination, and build analysis/visualization tools in MATLAB/Python. Support test and manufacturing environments, document code, and apply software development best practices.
