Arranges funeral and memorial services, coordinates removal and final disposition, prepares memorial areas, maintains respect for the deceased, and ensures compliance with funeral industry regulations. Requires professional communication, organization, sensitivity, computer proficiency, and a caring approach. Funeral industry experience is preferred but not required, as training is available.

Build community relationships and generate pre-need funeral and cemetery planning business. Conduct seminars, appointments, presentations, park tours, outreach, and follow-up while maintaining CRM activity, contracts, and documentation. Educate families on planning options, benefits, and regulations, deliver compassionate service, and meet weekly appointment and performance goals.

Guide families through funeral and memorial services with compassion; manage service planning, vendor coordination, legal documentation, logistics and deliveries; maintain records, handle administrative tasks, provide on-call coverage, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Maintain cemetery, mausoleum, and funeral home grounds and facilities: mowing, trimming, sod laying, debris removal, pond/fountain cleaning, hand digging/trenching, installing crypt faces and memorials, conducting interments/entombments/inurnments, minor facility repairs, and vehicle cleaning.

Serves as the first point of contact for families, visitors, and callers at a funeral home. Responsibilities include answering and directing calls, greeting visitors, handling customer inquiries, distributing mail, scheduling courier deliveries, and providing information about departments, employees, and services. The role requires professionalism, organization, compassionate customer service, basic computer skills, and at least six months of relevant experience.
