The Senior System Engineer will develop and integrate metrology solutions for semiconductor manufacturing, collaborating with design and product teams, conducting R&D, and managing system performance and customer relationships.

Design, develop, test, and maintain .NET applications for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Integrate software with hardware systems (x-ray, optics, vacuum, data acquisition), troubleshoot issues, participate in code and design reviews, gather requirements from stakeholders, and apply industry best practices to build robust, scalable software.

Develop and optimize optical metrology applications (XPS/XRF, SIMS) for semiconductor manufacturing. Travel up to 25%.

The Hardware Engineering Manager leads a team in developing and deploying metrology systems, collaborating with multifunctional groups and overseeing product life cycles and workflows.

Provide regional field and customer technical support for semiconductor metrology systems: diagnose, repair, install, upgrade, and train. Collect and analyze system performance and reliability data, manage escalations, support beta/new product introduction, create technical documentation, and coordinate service activities with field teams, engineering, and operations to maximize tool uptime and customer satisfaction.

Lead mechanical subsystem designs from concept through production for next-generation metrology systems. Create detailed 3D models and drawings, BOMs, tolerance analyses, and ECOs; run DFMEA; manage vendors and prototypes; prepare test plans and validate designs through testing and analysis. Collaborate with electrical, optical, firmware, and software teams to integrate systems for semiconductor metrology products.

Lead a US regional IT team of three to deliver business applications, infrastructure, and service desk support. Own IT service delivery, vendor management, Oracle Fusion implementation/support, systems analysis, and alignment with global IT policies. Partner with business leaders, monitor IT performance, and drive continuous improvement and compliance.

Lead mechanical design from concept through release and manufacturing for next-generation metrology systems. Create specifications, detailed designs, drawings and BOMs; perform risk analysis, FEA, prototyping and testing; manage suppliers and design reviews to validate high-precision, vacuum and optics-based semiconductor equipment.

Design, develop, and test embedded firmware for STM32/ARM-based metrology hardware. Collaborate with electrical and systems engineers on board bring-up, device drivers, and hardware-software integration. Optimize performance and memory, perform HIL/unit testing and debugging with scopes, logic analyzers and emulators, follow CI/CD and version control, and produce technical documentation.

Design and iterate mechanical subsystems and prototypes for next-generation metrology systems. Own concept-to-manufacturing designs, create specs, drawings and BOMs, perform risk/FEA analysis, manage suppliers, and validate designs through testing in cross-disciplinary teams.

Partner with cross-functional teams to build and maintain complex financial models, forecasts, and reporting for a semiconductor equipment business. Own P&L, cash flow, budgeting, cost and margin analysis, and provide strategic insights for product introductions, CAPEX, and operational performance. Drive process improvement, ERP/planning system optimization, and present findings to senior leadership and investors.
