Leads Nuro’s Software Operations organization, overseeing AI training and evaluation data, autonomy regression analysis, release validation, operational KPIs, and root-cause investigations. Manages large-scale data-labeling vendors, including quality, throughput, SLAs, budgets, and pricing. Partners with engineering, machine learning, data science, simulation, and product teams to build evaluation datasets, improve autonomy performance, and scale operational processes and teams.

Senior Commercial Counsel will lead complex commercial transactions, including drafting, negotiating, and managing agreements involving technology, IP, SaaS, partnerships, supply chain, and services. The role advises cross-functional teams on legal risk, supports privacy and marketing matters, implements a contract lifecycle management system, improves contracting workflows, and trains business teams. Candidates need substantial technology-sector legal experience, strong negotiation and judgment, and admission to at least one state bar.

Drive system-level safety architecture and requirements for autonomous vehicle hardware and firmware. Develop functional safety and SOTIF concepts, safety mechanisms, fault strategies, and safety requirements. Lead HARA, FMEA, FTA, and DFA analyses; collaborate with hardware, controls, and embedded software teams; support SIL/HIL and on-road validation; analyze test data; and maintain safety-case arguments and residual-risk assessments.
