Summer 2027 internship opportunities at Oklo span thermal hydraulics, fuel performance, mechanical analysis, instrumentation and controls, neutronics, process engineering, prototyping and manufacturing, and business operations. Interns will apply academic knowledge to engineering analysis, modeling, design, testing, documentation, fabrication, or operational improvement. Candidates must be enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor’s or master’s program, work 30–40 hours weekly, and be available at an Oklo location. U.S. citizenship is required.

Leads enterprise manufacturing strategy for first-of-a-kind and scalable hardware production. Develops make-versus-buy recommendations, evaluates supplier capabilities and manufacturing processes, identifies capacity and industrialization risks, and creates roadmaps from prototype builds to repeatable production. Partners with Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Strategy, Program Management, and suppliers on readiness assessments, process qualification, cost, quality, throughput, capacity, and risk mitigation. The role is strategic and technical but does not operate factories or own supplier negotiations.

Develop and deploy nuclear reactor products from early concepts through validation and deployment. The Product Manager defines product vision, requirements, roadmaps, business cases, and success criteria while coordinating engineering, licensing, manufacturing, supply chain, commercial, and operations teams. Responsibilities include leading technical tradeoffs, managing product risks and dependencies, supporting customer and partner engagements, and aligning development with regulatory, commercial, safety, cost, and schedule objectives.
