Teams at OpenRouter

Own and grow OpenRouter’s developer community across Discord, Twitter/X, Reddit, and other channels. Lead moderation, contributor recognition, community programs, events, automations, and sentiment tracking. Build scalable playbooks and systems, recruit and support moderators, synthesize feedback for product and engineering, and represent OpenRouter publicly. The role is primarily digital with regular in-person event involvement and requires hands-on experience building with LLMs and their APIs.

The Forward Deployed Engineer will onboard customers, integrate OpenRouter into their systems, troubleshoot issues, and drive adoption of AI inference solutions.

Provides technical support for enterprise AI infrastructure customers, debugging code, APIs, logs, and upstream provider issues. Creates reproductions, assesses business impact, coordinates incident resolution, supports account reviews, communicates during outages, documents solutions, and feeds customer insights to Product and Engineering. The role requires 3–5+ years in external-facing B2B SaaS or API support, programming knowledge, observability tools, and SQL proficiency.
