Design, analyze, integrate, and validate mechanical systems and components for an advanced fusion energy platform. Lead designs from concept through fabrication and testing, perform structural, thermal, and dynamic analyses, coordinate multidisciplinary engineering efforts, manage vendors and manufacturers, conduct design reviews, document requirements, assess risks, and mentor junior engineers.

Designs advanced mechanical systems for fusion energy technology using Creo Parametric and Windchill. Responsibilities include developing production-ready layouts and assemblies, analyzing complex design problems, managing configuration-controlled documentation, estimating schedules and costs, supporting fabrication and testing, leading design reviews, authoring technical documentation, and mentoring designers. The role may also provide technical and project leadership across multiple complex projects.

Administer and optimize the company’s Creo and Windchill CAD/PLM ecosystem. Responsibilities include software configuration, licensing, access management, deployments, libraries, templates, modeling standards, troubleshooting, user training, performance optimization, and CAD automation. The role supports engineers, scientists, technicians, and contractors in a complex fusion hardware environment.
