Owns and reviews monthly general ledger close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, international entities, FX revaluation, consolidations, flux analysis, and controls. Partners with Tax, Treasury, FinOps, auditors, and budget owners to ensure accurate US GAAP reporting. Drives process improvements and automation using AI, scripts, and workflow tools. Requires strong accounting knowledge, NetSuite and close-management experience, communication skills, and a bachelor's degree; CPA is preferred.

Lead the architecture and delivery of Patreon's large-scale live video platform, covering ingest, transcoding, packaging, delivery, playback, backend services, and APIs. Improve latency, quality, reliability, observability, and scalability across web and mobile. Evaluate video vendors, operate cloud-native systems, manage incidents and capacity planning, shape the technical roadmap, and mentor engineers.

Leads multiple platform and infrastructure engineering teams responsible for backend services, APIs, developer platforms, reliability, scalability, and AI enablement. Owns technical strategy, capacity planning, operational excellence, incident response, and platform roadmaps. Partners with product and engineering leaders, communicates risks and investments to executives, and hires and develops senior engineering managers. Requires extensive engineering leadership experience scaling high-availability consumer, UGC, or marketplace platforms.
