Designs, deploys, and maintains secure, scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform and GitLab CI/CD. Supports applications, monitoring, incident resolution, IAM, backups, upgrades, observability, disaster recovery, and audit activities. Collaborates with engineering, security, infrastructure, data, and analytics teams to improve reliability and automation. Participates in on-call operations and provides technical guidance on cloud architecture, deployment strategies, and AWS best practices.

Supports software quality assurance and test automation for a government program. Develops automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; executes manual testing; documents results; manages defects in JIRA; maintains traceability and testing reports; performs accessibility, performance, disaster recovery, and IV&V testing; and participates in Agile ceremonies and DevSecOps quality gates.

Develops and delivers nontechnical training programs through live web-based classes, seminars, coaching, workshops, and e-learning. Creates instructional outlines, tests, teaching aids, training videos, and evaluation criteria. Identifies employee development needs, consults with stakeholders, coordinates vendors, monitors training budgets, and maintains existing training content. The role is fully remote with occasional in-person domestic and potentially annual international classes.
