Opportunistic role for exceptional candidates to define their own mandate applying frontier AI to biomedical science. Work spans agent platform, science, infrastructure, product, and commercial tasks with end-to-end ownership. Must be highly autonomous, AI-native, collaborative, and able to work onsite in South San Francisco.

Lead and scale Phylo's security, privacy, and compliance program: own the compliance roadmap, prepare for SOC 2/ISO 27001/GDPR/HIPAA readiness, support FedRAMP and NIST planning, partner with engineering to implement controls, run risk assessments and audits, manage customer security reviews and RFPs, and automate evidence collection and compliance workflows.

Lead full-cycle recruiting across business, scientific, and engineering roles; personally source and close senior talent; build recruiting systems (ATS, interview rubrics, interviewer training), employer brand, and scalable hiring processes; use AI and automation to improve sourcing and speed; partner tightly with founders and hiring managers.
