Designs and evolves AWS infrastructure as code using CDK, develops backend software primarily in TypeScript, and applies secure engineering practices for regulated environments. The role contributes to architecture, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, production support, observability, and on-call operations. It collaborates cross-functionally, builds scalable and reusable systems, supports SOC 2 compliance, and uses AI coding assistants to improve development, testing, and documentation.

Leads workers’ compensation claims adjusters and specialists, providing technical and jurisdictional oversight for denials, payments, settlements, reserves, audits, and complex claims. Manages workflows, caseloads, escalations, compliance, performance, hiring, and employee development. Partners with the Claims Manager to meet departmental goals and improve claim outcomes, processes, and customer experiences.

Manage and grow a portfolio of agency partners by increasing submissions, binds, and premium. Build partner relationships, conduct meetings and networking activities, identify trends through reporting and analytics, execute growth and retention strategies, monitor OKRs, forecast premium, and collaborate cross-functionally on process improvements. Achieve sales targets while delivering tailored communication and strategic support to commercial insurance partners.
