Own human factors and usability research for an implantable brain-computer interface through formative and summative testing, clinical studies, and regulatory submission. Develop protocols, task analyses, use-related risk analyses, labeling, training materials, and audit-ready reports. Partner with QA, Regulatory, Engineering, Design, surgeons, and clinical staff to ensure device workflows are safe and usable. Travel up to 10% for research activities.

Design and implement front-end and back-end systems for a regulated BCI clinical UX and cloud platform. Build real-time and offline rendering engines for high-frequency physiological data, develop APIs and data models, perform rapid prototyping, follow IEC 62304-compliant SDLC, produce documentation, and support clinical teams (travel up to 10%).

Translate schematics into manufacturable multilayer PCB layouts for implantable electronics. Perform component placement and routing for analog, RF, high-speed, digital, and power. Generate fabrication and assembly outputs (Gerbers, ODB++, IPC-2581, drill, pick-and-place), coordinate DFM and vendor reviews, maintain PCB libraries and documentation, and manage board revisions and configuration control.
