Build and scale the People function for a rapidly growing AI startup. Responsibilities include developing performance, compensation, equity, leveling, and retention programs; advising founders and leaders on organization design; personally sourcing and closing G&A, growth, and marketing hires; scaling People Operations; and supporting onboarding, employee experience, and sensitive employee conversations.

Run Prime Intellect’s San Francisco office, including facilities, supplies, access, vendors, safety, equipment, and workplace logistics. Plan and execute onsites, offsites, events, executive visits, and team travel across multiple cities. Host visitors, support employee experience programs, manage merchandise, and back up the Executive Business Partner with calendars, expenses, travel, and ad hoc needs. The role is fully onsite and requires strong organization, judgment, initiative, and comfort with changing priorities.

Build post-training and agent systems for public-sector and regulated environments. Develop private improvement loops, permissioned tool-using agents, high-assurance evaluations, and deployable model updates within strict data and infrastructure boundaries. Conduct experiments, inspect traces, establish meaningful baselines, attribute failures, and collaborate directly with customers and research partners. The role requires hands-on model-training or agent experimentation, strong Python skills, sound research judgment, and comfort solving ambiguous problems.
