Supports electrical, optical, thermal, and mechanical characterization of photonic devices, packages, and assemblies. Develops test plans, operates laboratory equipment, analyzes data, supports DOE, reliability testing, failure analysis, and root-cause investigations. Creates automated Python-based test and analysis tools, prepares technical reports, maintains laboratory documentation and calibration records, and collaborates with product, packaging, reliability, process, and manufacturing engineering teams.

Leads the design, programming, commissioning, and operation of PLC-based controls for cryogenic infrastructure. Responsibilities include electrical and instrumentation systems, PLC and HMI development, safety interlocks, industrial networks, data acquisition, commissioning, troubleshooting, vendor coordination, and system reliability. The role also provides technical leadership, mentors engineers and technicians, establishes controls standards, and supports global installations and cryogenic operations.

Coordinates high-volume recruiting activities, including complex interview scheduling, candidate travel and food arrangements, follow-up, applicant record maintenance, correspondence tracking, and recruiting documentation. Ensures accurate data handling and compliance with employment regulations while supporting a positive candidate experience and collaborating with managers across the organization.
