Build and scale high-performance data pipelines and systems supporting a biomedical knowledge graph. Develop tools for ingesting, transforming, and delivering biomedical data; improve cloud-native workflows, reliability, and performance; and promote engineering practices including code reviews, automated testing, continuous integration, monitoring, and root-cause analysis. Collaborate with DevOps, data, ontology, QA, and application engineering teams. The role requires onsite work in Redwood City.

Senior Linux systems and storage engineer responsible for managing Dell EMC storage (SAN/NFS/CIFS/iSCSI), enterprise Linux environments, virtualization (VMware/Xen), backups/replication, automation scripting, kernel troubleshooting, capacity and redundancy planning, security hardening, and on-call production support.

Lead and mentor a 3-5 person test automation and QA/QC team to validate biological content, analytics, and data pipelines. Remain hands-on to design and implement automated quality controls, test automation frameworks, CI integration, and documentation under relevant quality standards. Collaborate with content scientists and software engineers to ensure scientific validity, scalability, and release readiness of genomics knowledge-base products.
