Develop low-level embedded flight software and firmware for autonomous aviation systems. Responsibilities include C/C++ requirements, design, coding, unit testing, requirements-based testing under DO-178C, bare-metal and hardware initialization, networking, protocol drivers, memory interfaces, Python integration tests, and continuous integration infrastructure. The role supports aircraft demonstrations, higher-level capabilities, certification, and product delivery.

Lead and grow the Simulation and Test Systems team, owning simulation frameworks, test automation, hardware-in-the-loop environments, and cloud-scale Monte Carlo infrastructure. Provide technical architecture guidance, mature engineering processes, manage roadmaps and priorities, and collaborate with GNC, flight software, systems, avionics, and certification teams. Ensure simulation and verification tools are scalable, reproducible, deterministic, and suitable for safety-critical aviation certification.

Leads electrical and avionics NPI from prototype through production. Designs build and integration processes, conducts DFX and DFT reviews, establishes manufacturing, inspection, quality, and validation systems, manages suppliers, troubleshoots issues, performs root-cause analysis, and ensures safety, reliability, compliance, cost, and schedule objectives. The role also mentors teams and serves as the electrical and avionics technical authority.
