Own the reliability and quality of AI-powered features in production. Design prompting, retrieval, routing, tool-use strategies, evaluation frameworks, guardrails, fallbacks, and regression detection for non-deterministic systems. Diagnose hallucinations, instruction drift, and context sensitivity while balancing quality, cost, latency, and robustness. Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to establish quality standards and ship dependable AI products.

Build and operate Retool’s agent platform across product, infrastructure, and evaluation layers. Design prompting, context construction, retrieval, routing, tool use, sandboxed execution, and evaluation systems for long-horizon workflows. Diagnose nondeterministic agent failures, improve reliability and safety, and partner on workload isolation and deployment across cloud and self-hosted environments. Mentor engineers and establish standards for production agentic products.

Build Retool’s automation platform, including Workflows and Agents, orchestration engines, execution infrastructure, AI integrations, and developer tooling. Design scalable distributed systems, collaborate with product and design, own projects from architecture through launch and iteration, improve platform reliability and performance, work with customers, and mentor engineers.
