Performs insurance eligibility and benefits verification, prior authorization submissions and follow-up, payer communication, EMR documentation, and insurance-related administrative support. Tracks approvals, denials, expiration dates, referrals, and correspondence while helping prevent billing errors and appointment disruptions. Maintains HIPAA compliance, communicates benefit details to patients and staff, supports billing teams, and manages high-volume workflows independently in a remote setting.

Manage patient treatment authorization requests from submission through approval, track pending and expiring authorizations, communicate with payers, review clinical documentation, appeal denials, update Raintree records, and coordinate authorization-related scheduling with clinical and front office teams.
