Translate business objectives into actionable data analysis, analyze large datasets, apply statistical and machine learning methods, and clearly communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences. The role requires Hadoop ecosystem expertise, Python scripting, strong statistical knowledge, sampling and analytical skills, and business domain experience in retail, enterprise mobility, or healthcare.

Develop and deploy high-performance, highly available Java server-side applications and evolve existing systems into large-scale service architectures. Apply object-oriented design, architectural patterns, distributed computing frameworks, serialization technologies, REST, SQL, unit testing, mocking, and build tools. Work with Hadoop ecosystem technologies and learn emerging big data analytics platforms.

Designs and implements web user interfaces using HTML5 and JavaScript, applying UX principles and data visualization techniques. Requires strong expertise in the Dojo and D3.js toolkits, with CoffeeScript and Play Framework experience preferred. A relevant bachelor’s degree and at least five years of software development experience are required.
