Leads architecture, development, and delivery of scalable frontend systems and internal web applications. Builds shared UI components and design-system patterns, integrates APIs and identity systems, ensures accessibility, performance, testing, reliability, and CI/CD standards, and mentors engineers. Collaborates with product, design, backend, and technical teams to translate requirements into maintainable user experiences. The role is based in Fremont, California, with one to three office days weekly and occasional travel.

Lead frontend architecture and development for customer-facing vehicle purchasing experiences, including configuration, trade-in, financing, leasing, and delivery. Build performant, accessible interfaces; guide component libraries, design systems, rendering strategies, and API integrations. Drive technical initiatives through design documents and reviews, improve frontend performance and resilience, collaborate with product and design, mentor engineers, and establish scalable engineering standards.

Leads the engineering team responsible for Scout’s Order Management Platform, overseeing people development, technical strategy, delivery, reliability, scalability, and operational excellence. Owns systems managing vehicle orders from reservation through delivery, integrating with finance, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and customer experience platforms. Partners with product and architecture teams on roadmaps, cross-functional initiatives, modernization, AI automation, production readiness, incident management, and continuous improvement.
