Examines and manages complex California workers’ compensation claims, including investigation, benefit determination, reserve calculations, payments, litigation, settlement negotiation, statutory filings, subrogation, and excess carrier reporting. Ensures claims are adjudicated accurately, timely, and within service and regulatory requirements.

Handles complex public entity general liability claims involving serious injuries, coverage disputes, legal inquiries, and litigation. Reviews reports, develops resolution and defense strategies, coordinates with clients, attorneys, investigators, and local counsel, manages settlements and subrogation, adjusts reserves, approves expenses, and participates in mediations, trials, arbitrations, and hearings.

Manage high-end general liability litigation claims: review files, develop defense and settlement strategies, coordinate local counsel and investigations, attend mediations/trials, authorize expenses, and pursue subrogation to resolve complex claims.
