Designs and develops electro-mechanical force sensing and haptics modules from concept through mass production. Responsibilities include mechanical design, prototyping, fabrication, assembly, testing, characterization, DFM, root-cause analysis, FEA, electromagnetic simulation, and production-line support. The engineer collaborates with mechanical, electrical, software, business, OEM, manufacturing, and customer teams, including travel to domestic and international partner and customer sites.

Leads a distributed design verification team for mixed-signal integrated circuits. Develops verification strategies, test plans, coverage models, UVM/SystemVerilog testbenches, regression systems, and automation for block- and chip-level verification. Manages schedules, resources, risks, reporting, mentoring, and technical reviews while collaborating with digital, analog, firmware, systems, silicon validation, and production teams.

Leads Semtech’s executive, corporate, internal, crisis, and thought-leadership communications. The role owns CEO and CCO messaging, earnings and board communications, enterprise messaging architecture, brand narrative repositioning, employee communications, and spokesperson preparedness. This leader will build the communications function, establish agency and team models, partner across business functions, and guide communications through a company-wide transformation.
