Teams at Sentry

Leads the Events Analytics Platform engineering team building and operating petabyte-scale distributed data systems. Owns architecture, analytical storage and query infrastructure, scalability, reliability, performance, incident response, and technical execution. Partners with product engineering teams to deliver platform capabilities supporting Sentry products and AI-powered debugging. Develops engineers, drives technical decisions, and manages projects from design through production operations.

Leads multiple engineering teams responsible for runtime and stateful platform systems, including databases, stream processing, storage, and caching. Sets technical strategy, drives major architectural changes, ensures reliability and operational excellence, and develops engineering managers and senior technical leaders. Partners across Platform, Infrastructure, and Product to deliver complex initiatives and evolve Sentry’s infrastructure at scale.

Design, build, and operate scalable distributed systems and cloud infrastructure supporting Sentry’s products. Own complex technical projects from architecture through production, solve reliability and performance challenges, make architectural decisions, and contribute hands-on code. Collaborate across engineering teams, influence technical direction, establish standards, mentor engineers, and improve engineering practices. Focus areas may include cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, data infrastructure, reliability, or developer infrastructure.
