What’s the vibe like in the office?
It’s an exciting time to be at Simon - we’re expanding rapidly and there’s a lot of opportunity for personal growth. I love that everyone here, from junior folks to the executive team, is super hands-on. We work hard and we’re scrappy, but we know how to have fun - my favorite Simon tradition is going to karaoke during our quarterly offsites.
How do you collaborate with other teams in the company?
Collaboration with other teams is fundamental to my role at Simon. I work closely with our engineering and product team to build and maintain our product per my clients needs. This close collaboration across the organization has provided an excellent learning experience and continues to be one of the most rewarding aspects of my time at Simon.

I’ve loved the experience of joining together with my peers to address an exciting opportunity through cross-organizational projects. Personally, it’s provided me the opportunity to better understand the role and responsibilities of different teams and expand my skillset.
What is your vision for the company?
Customer relationships are more important than ever. At Simon, we want to help brands build those meaningful experiences and be the platform that supports a more human kind of marketing by leveraging data. What makes someone successful on your team?
On the engineering team, and at Simon in general, we really value individuals speaking up about what they think is best for our product and our company. Regardless of management or team structure, the best ideas at Simon come from people at every level contributing to our overall success.
Starting as an engineer at Simon has given me the opportunity to take the lead on projects and responsibilities far outside the typical scope of a junior engineering role and helped me to grow rapidly as an engineer.
I love that a strong core of our engineering culture is the ability to work from home! I'm in the office most days, but being able to work productively from home is a huge benefit to life at Simon!
Simon is a special place because of its' people - I love the people I work with! Even as a full-time remote employee, I always feel connected with my teammates. Moreover, Simon is growing fast and there's so much opportunity to make an impact here.
