The role requires independent B2B government or enterprise selling, strong technical and proposal writing, CRM fluency, and familiarity with government procurement.

Manage the quote-to-cash revenue cycle, including government bid submissions, procurement portals, compliance documentation, contract coordination, purchase-order reconciliation, billing overages, renewals, and sales-to-delivery handoffs. The engineer will own the AI development roadmap, use AI-assisted tools, mentor junior staff, document system knowledge, and independently ship production enhancements in a fully remote, high-autonomy environment.

Supports payroll integrations, implementations, provider transitions, data validation, reconciliations, compliance activities, payroll issue resolution, and system configuration across Solen and its portfolio companies. Owns day-to-day IT operations across headquarters and more than twenty software businesses. The role will standardize identity, endpoint, SaaS, device lifecycle, security, onboarding, incident response, vulnerability management, documentation, and acquisition integrations. It will also optimize cloud costs, evaluate vendors and managed services, establish governance, and recommend the long-term IT operating model. This is a hands-on builder role requiring practical judgment, strong communication, and the ability to create reliable, repeatable processes in an ambiguous environment.

Leads two vertical software businesses with full ownership of revenue, retention, profitability, cash management, product direction, organizational structure, and customer relationships. Builds repeatable sales and renewal motions, manages public-sector procurement, allocates capital across functions, evaluates teams, and sets coordinated product strategies while preserving each business’s identity. The role requires hands-on selling, P&L leadership, founder-transition experience, and approximately one week of travel per month.
