Partner with engineering, UX, marketing, quality, and regulatory teams from concept through commercialization, and support product strategy, roadmap development, technology evaluation, and competitive analysis.

Leads acoustic and audio hardware development for handheld, battery-powered medical products from architecture through production. Designs and optimizes microphones, speakers, amplifiers, codecs, audio signal paths, PCBs, processors, power systems, and sensors. Conducts acoustic testing, tuning, prototype bring-up, debugging, validation, and root-cause analysis. Provides technical leadership to design manufacturer teams and ensures performance, reliability, manufacturability, battery life, thermal behavior, and compliance.

Leads sales operations analytics by developing dashboards, KPIs, reports, and executive analyses; analyzing complex business data; supporting territory alignment, quota planning, order crediting, and compensation; coordinating proposals and assessments; and improving processes, workflows, data controls, and documentation. Partners cross-functionally to deliver scalable business solutions and actionable recommendations.

Own the hardware portfolio strategy and roadmap for wearable healthcare devices. Lead product development with engineering, design, regulatory, and clinical teams; define positioning, value propositions, pricing, forecasting, and business cases; analyze customer insights and competition; integrate wearables with software, mobile, RTLS, and connectivity platforms; and monitor portfolio performance KPIs.

Supports New Product Development teams and the Project Management Office through governance, portfolio execution, data entry, metrics, resource analysis, trend reporting, and workflow improvements. The intern collaborates with program, project, and portfolio managers, documents complex processes, presents information clearly, and helps improve execution speed. Designs and implements in-circuit, functional, and electromechanical manufacturing tests for medical device products. Performs process verification, equipment qualification, validation, Gauge R&R, DOE, and capability analysis. Develops fixtures, schematics, instrumentation, and documentation; troubleshoots manufacturing issues; and supports design-for-testability, design-for-manufacturing, new product introduction, and process transfers with engineering, suppliers, and manufacturing partners.

Biomedical Engineering interns support research and development teams in new product development or product engineering. Responsibilities include researching technologies, customer needs, regulations, and product performance; using CAD, FEA, test labs, and root cause analysis; designing or improving medical products; documenting processes; collaborating cross-functionally; and presenting findings.

Lead product and portfolio strategy for a Workflow Engine and integrations within the SmartCare platform. Define vision, roadmaps, and investment priorities; partner with engineering, architecture, UX, sales, and customers; drive discovery, requirements, go-to-market, and lifecycle management; ensure scalability, security, interoperability, and business performance; gather market and customer insights; evaluate partnerships and competitive landscape; mentor teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Supports supply chain projects across purchasing, business planning, distribution, demand planning, product lifecycle management, and PMO functions. Responsibilities may include procurement, inventory planning, production scheduling, forecasting, demand analysis, product portfolio analysis, process improvement, and executive reporting. Supports upstream marketing and marketing communications initiatives for medical technology products. Responsibilities may include product development support, customer insights, strategic marketing, creation of customer-facing materials, digital and advertising communications, product launches, trade shows, and sales meetings. Interns collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders while documenting processes and presenting information clearly.

Software Engineering interns support Stryker teams across quality, research and development, testing, and manufacturing. Responsibilities may include product development, design verification and validation, prototype testing, root cause analysis, process improvement, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams and suppliers. Interns apply their technical education to improve medical products, manufacturing processes, reliability, and quality while developing professional and communication skills.

Supports downstream marketing and commercialization initiatives, including campaign development, messaging, positioning, customer insight gathering, and commercial model validation. The intern collaborates with sales members, surgeons, internal stakeholders, and external contacts while documenting processes, presenting information, and managing multiple priorities. The role provides practical experience in medical technology marketing and requires strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Electrical Engineering interns support Stryker teams in advanced, process, supplier, and product quality; research and development; testing; and manufacturing. Owns product definition and execution for Voice Intelligence capabilities across applications, devices, services, and clinical workflows. Translates customer and clinical needs into software requirements, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria; partners with Product Management, Engineering, Clinical, Quality, Marketing, and other teams to prioritize work, manage dependencies, assess risks, and deliver measurable customer outcomes. The role requires expertise in voice technologies, conversational AI, cloud services, APIs, healthcare workflows, and regulated environments.
