MBA summer intern supporting a venture capital investment team focused on technology transforming the built environment. Responsibilities include developing investment theses, researching markets, sourcing deals, meeting founders and ecosystem participants, conducting market sizing and competitive analysis, building financial models, evaluating companies, preparing investment memos, and presenting recommendations. The role requires strong analytical, communication, presentation, and financial modeling skills, along with pre-MBA experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, or management consulting.

Leads construction project administration, budgeting, forecasting, change orders, procurement, scheduling, contract management, quality, risk, closeout, and subcontractor relationships. Oversees owner and subcontractor requisitions, cash flow, project logs, compliance, and schedule performance. Builds effective owner relationships, manages project teams, mentors personnel, resolves conflicts, and enforces Suffolk’s standard operating procedures and quality processes.

Manages construction projects throughout their lifecycle, coordinating field supervision, subcontractors, vendors, owners, architects, and consultants. Responsibilities include maintaining schedules and budgets, administering contracts and purchase orders, managing procurement and document control, overseeing meetings, payments, risk, quality, change orders, and project closeout. The role requires strong financial judgment, organization, communication, problem-solving, leadership, and construction project experience.
