Supports building automation system project startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, programming, graphics modification, hardware design, testing, and closeout documentation. Works with project managers and senior engineers across job sites and office settings, assists with network commissioning, tracks project tasks and budgets, submits work reports, and supports customer-focused project delivery. The role requires technical aptitude, organization, communication skills, safety training, and a valid California driver’s license.

Designs building automation and control systems for lower- to mid-level projects, including material selection, sequence-of-operation development, drawings, submittals, as-builts, and closeout documentation. Reads construction plans and electrical schematics, coordinates with project teams, resolves field issues, manages assigned project budgets and schedules, and supports customer-focused, compliant deliverables. Requires occasional travel and job-site visits.

Develops and programs HVAC and BAS control systems, databases, graphics, sequences, and testing scripts. Reviews hardware designs, integrates third-party systems, supports commissioning and remote troubleshooting, analyzes system performance, and resolves software, communication, and hardware issues. Coordinates with project managers, engineers, technicians, and contractors while managing project schedules, budgets, documentation, cybersecurity standards, and programming quality. Requires BAS and HVAC controls expertise, programming experience, and occasional construction-site work.
