Lead Tanger's tax strategy, compliance, reporting, and risk management to preserve REIT status. Oversee federal, state, international, and JV tax filings; coordinate audits and taxing-authority interactions; advise on acquisitions, dispositions, entity structure, and ASC 740/FIN48 reporting; evaluate tax credits and planning opportunities; lead tax research and implement law changes; support financial reporting and incentive compensation; manage and mentor tax staff while collaborating cross-functionally across Finance, Legal, Operations, and Executive Leadership.

Provide geospatial and market intelligence to support leasing, marketing, investments, and development. Maintain geospatial datasets and trade areas, perform location-based analyses integrating internal and third-party data, build maps/dashboards/reports, and apply AI-enabled tools and automation to improve research, reporting, and decision support across the organization.

Provide legal support across contracts, technology, marketing, operations, and risk. Draft, review, and negotiate agreements (including SaaS, NDAs, vendor contracts); manage general liability litigation and disputes; advise on cybersecurity and PII compliance; handle regulatory inquiries and IP protection; mentor legal staff and review team-prepared documents.
