Assists registered pharmacists with procuring, storing, preparing, and distributing medications. Responsibilities include pharmacy automation and aseptic preparation of large-volume parenterals, intravenous antibiotics, chemotherapy agents, and total parenteral nutrition. The role requires a California Pharmacy Technician license, high school education, pharmacy technician coursework, and either hospital pharmacy experience or five years of recent retail pharmacy experience.

Monitors cardiac rhythms at a central station and supports hospital units through order transcription, communications, patient record maintenance, admissions and discharge processing, inventory tracking, charge entry, and clerical support. Responds to patient requests, escalates STAT orders, follows emergency procedures, maintains confidentiality, and adheres to healthcare regulations and hospital policies.

Provides unit clerical and clinical support in an acute-care hospital by monitoring cardiac rhythms at a central station, transcribing physician orders, maintaining medical records, handling communications, coordinating admissions and discharges, responding to patient requests, maintaining supplies, and escalating STAT orders or emergencies. The role requires telemetry experience, EKG training, medical terminology knowledge, basic computer skills, and current BLS certification.
