Build core infrastructure for a durable application runtime: implement schedulers, runtimes, and data plane components in Rust; optimize cluster scheduling, resource utilization, and performance; extend SDKs; collaborate across product and engineering from research to production.

Lead research and product development of document understanding and multimodal AI. Design and evaluate VLMs, RAG and retrieval systems; build benchmarks and datasets; ship production-ready components (table extraction, structure parsing, semantic indexing, multimodal QA); and work with engineering, product, and customers to deploy models and agentic workflows at scale.

Build end-to-end product features and intuitive interfaces/APIs for document and workflow management. Lead design and implementation, collaborate with engineering to ship polished products, monitor success, and optimize frontend performance.
