Lead design and validation of the mixed-signal sensing and signal-acquisition platform for plant electrophysiology. Own analog front ends, PCB schematics and bring-up, embedded firmware (ESP32/LoRa), power systems, and field deployments. Build lab instrumentation and characterization tooling, partner with science and ML teams to ensure usable data, and drive technical direction for hardware reliability, signal quality, and future sensing capabilities.

Lead systems architecture and engineering for an IoT hardware + software company: align sensing hardware, firmware, cloud, AI/ML, and user software; hire and develop the engineering team; transition prototypes to production; establish engineering practices; partner with science and AI teams to deliver field-deployed, reliable products for commercial deployments.
