Designs HVAC systems through all phases of design-build projects, including heating and cooling load calculations, mechanical layouts, system coordination, field verification, and construction administration support. Uses AutoCAD and Revit, resolves design clashes, coordinates with other trades, attends project meetings, supports clients, and mentors junior engineers. Requires knowledge of HVAC systems, MEP design, building codes, pressure calculations, Basis of Design, and Sequences of Operation.

Leads process mechanical and piping system design across design-build projects, from conceptualization through construction documents and fabrication support. Reviews technical drawings, submittals, RFIs, and quality documentation; manages project schedules, budgets, estimates, and client relationships. Coordinates multidisciplinary teams, supports FAT and SAT activities, develops turnover packages, resolves technical issues, and mentors engineering staff while promoting efficient, sustainable design solutions.

Leads mechanical engineering and HVAC design-build projects from concept through construction administration. Designs HVAC and plumbing systems, performs load calculations, reviews technical documents and submittals, coordinates multidisciplinary teams, manages project quality, schedules, and budgets, and interfaces with clients and stakeholders. Provides technical guidance, mentoring, and professional development while ensuring compliance with California codes, Title 24, ASHRAE standards, and project requirements.
