Build and run Transluce’s business operations infrastructure as the organization scales from 20 to 40+ employees. Responsibilities include managing financial controls, accounts payable and receivable, donations, audits, internal tools, cybersecurity and privacy compliance, SOC 2 controls, office IT, vendor relationships, and workplace infrastructure. The role advises leadership, improves processes, and balances strategic planning with hands-on execution.

Build and run Transluce’s People Operations function as the first dedicated people professional. Responsibilities include end-to-end hiring, sourcing strategy, onboarding, benefits, payroll, HRIS ownership, employee relations, culture practices, and federal and multi-state employment compliance. The role advises leadership, manages vendors and external counsel, handles visa processes, and develops scalable people infrastructure while remaining highly hands-on.

Develop and train scalable interpretability assistants to predict and detect subtle model behaviors. Create diverse evaluations, design novel architectures and objectives, and scale training/inference pipelines to support up to 1T‑scale models. Collaborate closely with a research team and contribute to high-impact evaluations used for industry standards and regulation.
