Teams at Twilio

Develop and operate highly available, large-scale distributed systems for Twilio SendGrid. Build Go-based microservices, manage AWS and Azure infrastructure with Terraform, improve observability and reliability, and optimize high-throughput email services. Responsibilities include architecture, coding, testing, technical debt reduction, infrastructure modernization, sprint planning, code reviews, and mentoring junior engineers.

Generate and develop sales pipeline for Twilio’s New Business and Strategic Sales teams through account research, outbound calls, personalized emails, and social selling. Build relationships with prospects, meet monthly opportunity-generation goals, use Salesforce, Outreach, and Sales Navigator, and partner with Account Executives on account strategies and territory plans. The role includes structured onboarding and training, with occasional travel for team or project meetings.

Manages and expands Self Service customer accounts, driving renewals, upsells, cross-sells, activations, and revenue growth. Owns pipeline forecasting, executes automated sales plays, protects revenue, prevents churn, and maintains customer satisfaction. Collaborates with product, finance, support, services, and marketing teams while developing account strategies based on data and communicating value to technical and business stakeholders.
