Supports the development, administration, and compliance of compensation programs, including salary structures, incentive plans, executive compensation, equity, merit planning, and market analysis. Partners with HR, Finance, Payroll, leadership, and vendors to provide compensation guidance, maintain pay equity, manage regulatory compliance, improve processes, and support compensation systems and training.

Advise commercial insurance underwriting and product teams on policy language, product development, regulatory compliance, underwriting practices, and insurance laws. Monitor regulatory developments, review compliance programs and marketing materials, support examinations and audits, develop training, and provide legal guidance across business units. The role requires a Juris Doctor, active U.S. bar admission, and at least five years of relevant insurance legal experience.

Handles complex, high-exposure excess and specialty casualty claims from investigation through resolution. Evaluates coverage, liability, damages, reserves, settlements, and risk transfer; manages defense counsel, experts, litigation, and underlying carriers; drafts coverage correspondence; ensures large-loss reporting and claims compliance; communicates with insureds and internal stakeholders; negotiates resolutions; mentors specialists; and serves as a subject matter expert on coverage, liability, tenders, reserves, and defense strategy.
